Questions about our fishing charter in Estepona
How much does a fishing charter in Estepona cost?
The 3-hour bottom fishing or trolling trip costs €650 and the 4-hour trip €800: the price is per boat, for your group of up to 10 people. The 8-hour deep-sea fishing day is on request: ask us for a quote.
What time do you leave and from where?
The 4-hour trip leaves at 08:30 and the 3-hour trip at 09:30, from Estepona Marina, pier 5, berth 220. Please check in 15 minutes before departure: the captain will meet you at Gate 5 (the gate to pier 5) to welcome you aboard and set sail on time.
What can you catch in Estepona?
Bottom fishing and trolling bring in sea bream, gilthead bream, dentex and much more. On the 8-hour deep-sea fishing day we go out in search of tuna. What you catch depends on the season and the state of the sea.
Do I need a fishing licence or my own tackle?
No. Group fishing licences, insurance, rods and reels and live bait are all included. Just bring your enthusiasm for fishing.
How many people can come?
Up to 10 anglers per trip. The boat is private: only your group comes along, with our skipper.
How do I book and when do I pay?
The 3- and 4-hour trips are booked online with the button on each fare: you choose the date and the number of people in the calendar and receive the confirmation by email. For the 8-hour day, send us the form or call us on +34 623 72 37 88 and we will prepare a quote for you. Payment on arrival, or we will contact you with the payment details.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first, and the captain decides whether to set sail. If the trip is cancelled because of sea conditions (strong wind, rough sea, thick fog or warnings from the Harbour Master), we’ll offer you another date or time at no cost. Clouds, light rain or cool weather are not reasons to cancel if the sea is safe for sailing.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes, sun protection and a cap. On board we go barefoot or wear white-soled boat shoes to protect the teak deck. Drinks (beer and soft drinks) are on us.
