How to book
On this website. Dolphin watching, the sunset cruise, the private boat for events and the 3- and 4-hour fishing trips are booked with the booking buttons on each page, which open the window of Bokun, our booking system. You choose the date, the time and the number of people, and you receive the confirmation by email with your booking reference. If you pay online, the payment is processed by Bokun’s secure payment gateway: we never see or store your card details.
Directly with us. The 8-hour fishing day, tailor-made events and any other request are booked through the forms on the website, by phone or by WhatsApp. Your booking is complete once we confirm it in writing (by WhatsApp or email).
On other platforms. If you book on GetYourGuide, Viator or another platform, the price, payment and cancellation are governed by that platform’s terms. The trip itself is run by us, with the rules on board set out in these conditions.
Cancellations
If you book on our website or directly with us, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before departure: just call us or send us a WhatsApp message.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before, do not turn up or would like to change the date, let us know as soon as possible: we look at each case individually and the final decision rests with the captain.
Bookings made on GetYourGuide, Viator or other platforms follow their own cancellation policies.
Weather and cancellation by us
Safety comes first. The decision to set sail always rests with the captain, who may cancel the trip or change the route if the sea does not allow it: winds of more than 20 knots, rough seas, thick fog or warnings from the Harbour Master.
If we cancel, we will offer you another date or time or, if that does not suit you, a full refund of what you have paid, at no cost and by the same payment method.
Clouds, light drizzle or cool weather are not grounds for cancellation if the sea allows us to sail safely and comfortably.
Boarding and punctuality
Check-in is 15 minutes before departure at Estepona Marina, pier 5, berth 220: the captain will meet you at Gate 5 (the gate to pier 5) to welcome you aboard (get directions).
If you arrive late, the trip will be shorter: it is not extended and no partial refund is given.
Rules on board
- Capacity: a maximum of 12 people on board, not counting the crew, with no exceptions.
- Footwear: the deck is teak, so please go barefoot or wear white-soled boat shoes. No high heels or dark soles.
- Children: they are welcome and are on board under the responsibility of their parents or the adult accompanying them. Alcoholic drinks are for over-18s only; for children there are soft drinks and water.
- Safety: always follow the instructions of the captain and the crew. The captain is the highest authority on board.
- Behaviour: we may refuse boarding or return to port, without a refund, if anyone endangers the boat or the people on board: reckless behaviour, drug use, disrespect towards the crew or any other dangerous conduct.
Insurance
The boat has valid third-party liability and passenger insurance and carries the mandatory safety equipment on board, including life rafts.
Right of withdrawal
Under Article 103(l) of the Spanish Consumer Protection Act (Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services provided on a specific date, such as our trips. This does not affect the free cancellation up to 24 hours before that we offer on bookings made on the website or directly with us.
Questions and complaints
For any question or complaint about your booking, write to us at hello@leflotriant.com or call us on +34 623 72 37 88. The official complaint forms of the Junta de Andalucía (the Andalusian regional government) are also available to you: just ask us.
